This screw-in cylinder with double-acting function is installed in fixture plates or in plates of plastic injection molds to save space.

The double-acting function enables cycle-based strokes when extending and retracting the piston. The actuation times can be calculated using the available delivery volume of the pressure generator and the respective actuated piston or annular space volumes. In contrast to single-acting cylinders, both stroke directions are force-actuated.

On the piston rod side, the cylinders are optionally equipped with a recessed wiper made of NBR or FKM and an additional metallic wiper. The metallic wiper prevents chips from penetrating the soft wiper and thus destroying the surface of the piston rod. This preventive measure protects the seals from damage and increases the availability of the cylinder.

Hydraulic double-acting, pmax. 250 bar, pneum. query clamped and/or unclamped (also simultaneously!) During the clamping process, the rotary linear clamp first rotates the clamping arm and then switches to a linear movement. This means there are no lateral forces at the clamping point and workpiece tolerances are compensated for by the linear stroke.
