The universal cylinder is equipped with a Seeger L-ring. This allows it to be installed directly into the fixture body. Thanks to its design, the installation depth can be adjusted in 10 mm increments. The cylinder with piston Ø 50 mm is equipped with a G1/8 bleed screw.
Important note:
No coolant or cutting fluid may enter the spring chamber. The cylinders must be arranged in such a way that the ingress of liquids via the sintered metal air filter is prevented. Alternatively, protection can be provided by a suitable cover. Sealing kits including fastening material are available as spare parts.

During the clamping process, the rotary linear clamp first rotates the clamping arm and then switches to a linear movement. This means there are no lateral forces at the clamping point and workpiece tolerances are compensated for by the linear stroke.
