EROWA WEDM Tooling System
The EROWA Wire EDM Tooling System is a complete tooling system for single and multiple-part palletizing in the WEDM process. It is a complete modular clamping concept for WEDM. It combines flat chucks (such as the products FSF pneumatic, FSF manual, Basic WEDM) with compact chucks (QuickChuck 50, RSA 50) as well as clamping frame and beam systems (PalletSet W, FrameSet).
All components are corrosion-resistant and optimized for use in liquid environments. With a repeatability of < 0.001 mm, they can be preset outside the machine and reliably loaded automatically using EROWA automation equipment.
Possible applications of EROWA WEDM systems:
- Highest flexibility and precision in clamping thanks to PalletSet W or Flatchuck.
- Wire erosion (EDM Cut): precise workpiece clamping on all common WEDM machines.
- Precision Machining and Toolmaking: Standardized clamping for mold inserts, punch and dies.
- Multiple-part palletizing: Simultaneous machining of different parts in one clamping frame.
- Cylinder and prism parts: Clamping via prism element and pendulum holder.
- Automated cells: Integration in EROWA Robot Compact, EROWA Robot Dynamic and EROWA JMS 4.0.
- Measuring and Post-Processing: identical zero point position across all machines.
